Sauron has the ring.
I'm probably not the only person making this analogy today.
Tolkien's story "The Lord of the Rings" has long been understood as the human history of man's struggle to be free pitted against the forces which crave power.
In this story, a dark lord devises a ring of power to enslave all free people. As long as it is in his possession, he can do pretty much whatever he wants.
This healthcare bill has always been about power.
This power will be transferred from the republic itself to a select committee...I believe that's what is called "communism". The bill was over 2600 pages and written in a language that resembles ancient Sumerian. That means the government can interpret it in any manner they choose to suit their desires.
America's President, complicit with his orcs in congress, have begun a war against the free people of the world. Make no mistake--America is a beacon of freedom and once it is lost, there will be no place for the oppressed of the world to run to. Just look what is happening to Israel since Obama criticized their decision to build housing within their own territory. Can you just imagine what the rabid Iranian dictator is thinking right now?
All things come to this: We are still America whether the ring is on Sauron's finger or not.
We have a Constitution in place, which, like the Sword of Anduril, can cut the ring from the dark lord's finger.
We just need someone to wield that sword.
And they will.

In Karl Marx's own words, he warns future dictators-to-be about the consequences of trying to socialize the masses when they are not ready for it. To paraphrase, he says the worst that could befall such a movement and its leaders is if the nation of people were not ready for such change. In other words, Obama could fail if enough Americans are willing to put a stop to this.
I know I'm not ready to be a slave.
From what I've seen and read today, I believe enough Americans have woken up to the fact that this "historic" bill being signed means the same kind of historic as Paul Revere's ride.
The government is coming by land and by sea and there is a call to arms.
Here's a good article from David Greenfield out of Canada to put this power grab into perspective:
"The Empire out of Touch"
http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/21217
The end of this excellent article states:
"Obama got as far as he did, to the highest office in the land, without ever once learning how to understand people. And that happened because he got there on fraud, smear campaigns and a whole lot of money backing his cult of personality. More importantly he got there because powerful people were standing behind him all the way up, paving the way for him, clearing away the roadblocks and moving him up the red carpet escalators to the sky. But how do you clear away a roadblock as big as the American Electorate?
So far no one in Obama’s Empire of the Out of Touch has found an answer for that."
Have no fear, friends...only fight the fight in front of you now and keep hope that the love of freedom is greater than the craving for power.

I absolutely love this post! Great comparisons and great insight.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane.
ReplyDeleteThe media is still gushing over this "historic" bill.
But they are all sticking their fingers in their ears and yelling nyah-nyah. They can't hear the roar of anger sweeping this country, and they won't acknowledge it until November.
I look forward to seeing their shocked faces when every single treacherous congresscritter who voted for this thing is voted out!
Don't know if you are a facebooker or not but there is a group called bet we can get 1,000,000+ people against this healthcare bill. Last I checked there were close to 800,000 members so far. There is another exactly opposite group-it had about 3000 members. I gives me hope that the Love of freedom is still alive all across our country!
ReplyDeleteWere we separated at birth? I wrote on the same topic almost the same day! Diane told me I should get to know you. I wish I'd listened to her sooner.
